A sacred hill named after great Natha Machhindranath who meditated here continuously for three days in order to delight Lord Shiva. Once mighty powers shiva and godess Mahakali then appeared at this place. Anyone who recites Machindranath’s hymns must visit this place. If one regularly recites these hymns, he is blessed with good health, wealth and prosperity.

Tapabhoomi’s courtyard offers enchanting view of surrounding villages, Bhangsal river, distant accessible Rangnagsal fort and Mulde’s Lake. While stepping down from the hill one can withess large shivlinga shaped naturally on the huge rock.
